1978 to 1986 - Senior Project Engineer, Vosper Hovermarine Ltd, builders of SES (sidewall hovercraft) Southampton, engaged on forward design and R&D.
1977 to 1978 - Naval Architect, K.G.McColl and Co. Ltd, Consultant Naval Architects and Surveyors.
1973 to 1977 - Ship Designer, Vosper Thornycroft Ltd, Warship builders, Portsmouth.
